Hand Baggage Studierende der Klasse für Malerei von Prof. Dong-yeon Kim (College of Fine Art, Kyung Hee Universität, Seoul)

The Kyung Hee University College of Fine Arts (Seoul, South Korea) exchange credit program with the Folkwang University of Arts, Essen has organized an exhibition of student works from the Korean painting, painting, and sculpture departments. The works explore various interests in diverse media including video, photography and printmaking. The 12 students in this exhibition were selected by a rigorous examination of 70 students. The resulting exhibition Hand Baggage will provide an opportunity to explore the cultural differences and shared interests in contemporary artistic practice in Asia and Europe, providing new input in a European context and throwing light on our practice.

Works by: Ku Seoungmo, Kim Hyorim, No Songhi, Bae Jiyin, Song Jehyun, Shin Yujeong, Oh Jieun, Lee Sungchan, Lee Jeongwon, Chang Somi, Ha Sunguk, Hong Nari and Prof. Dong-Yeon Kim.
